mine,too!
Mine comes up as a Boxster, too. When I was getting insurance quotes it really confused the agents... and then when I'd say "that is too cheap, it must cost more than that", they would try and give me Carrera 911 rates. I think the CGT was so new and limited it was not in any of their rate tables.

Question: The insurance company records your cars as boxters. What happens if you get in an accident, and the estimate to repair it is more than a new boxter costs? Will they call your CGTs totalled?

funny to hear that... my '05 Boxster insurance quote showed up unusually high (!!!!!!) so I called and they gave me the great news - I had a Carrera GT!!! I was overjoyed until I went outside to discover my Boxster was still there. Apparently my VIN number was for a CGT - possibly yours?
