maybe it is really a Boxster...

i'm confused. today i got a letter from my dealer stating my 2005 Boxster might due for service. i don't have a Boxster... i had to run to the garage to check. i had to take it out for a spin. it's a lot faster than Boxster. it didn't sound like a Boxster. i had my top on. was it a Cayman? no it's not out yet. my insurance company think it's a Boxster. i gave them my VIN. dealer got my VIN. they all told me i got a Boxster. WTF did i buy? i think i got a Boxster off sticker. that's all i know...

Well, they moved the decimal point on the invoice, didn't they? Sounds like the kind of clerical error Porsche makes all the time...

All those Viper guys must be pretty pissed to be losing to a Boxster. It's the Porsche with panties, remember?

As long as they charge you the Boxter rates for service I wouldn't complain.

My insurance company thought mine was a Boxter also, apparantly their computer is misreading the VIN.

Arling, you should ask for a refund from the dealer. You have proof it's a Boxster and they have it in the computer as a Boxster.
