For crusing the C32 was great with 333lb ft and 349HP.
I like the AMG Speedshift I wish I had it back sometimes..lol..
The E46 M is a good car, it it's your only car and crave the 6 speed, but what we are discussin is having a car that is already a street track car and deciding on a good daily option.
I have an Auto G35 sedan downstairs that I don't even drive and basically my GF just drives it. The GT3 begs to be driven everyday, but for people who want a good cruiser after being hammered on the streets in the GT3 an AMG would be a great choice. I would rather have a fast Auto as a sedating 2nd car than a growling M3 6 speed.
Stock to stock the E-46 M3 is not even close to a GT3 btw.

05997S just like me had a C55 prior to getting our M3's and the M3 is just a better connected car then either the C32 or C55.
Believe I would love a GT3 and if you search many of my posts I always state the only P-car I would have is a GT2/3 or a CGT (ya right). Enjoy my friend and drive it as often as you can I would!

They are making a limited run of C65’s for "preferred customers" whatever that means.
The M3 is a great car and my company has a 600HP M3 track/drift car that Dado owns and we sponsor and use for Mischief. It's an E36 M but still.
Now this whole thread should be centered on suggestions for someone with a GT3 and is looking for a daily option.
If I was going to get a daily option it would be a cushy fast Autobahn terror like an AMG.
The S4 is a good car too, but saying it Crap is stupid when the RWD C55 will clearly kill it on the street.
The M3 will kill a C55 in the twisties and we all know that.
Stoplight racing or freeway running the C55 beats the E46 M
If you guys spent some time rattled for hours behind the wheel of a DD GT3 you would understand that a second car should be a temporary savior from the GT3. Just enough to get the perma smile and white knuckles back together for the next run.
Here is our Turbo M3

Alright the C class is faster than the S4 no doubt, but the C class is a light weight caddilac with a big engine you feel like your driving a magic carpet not a sports car. As for the M3 its a great car, I love them, I like the S4 better which is why i bought one but to each his own.
Also AMG is rumored to make a C63 no a C65 and if they do I will let you guys know how i like it

Vader honestly u are somewhat correct I always say a daily driver should be a lesser car then the car you enjoy so much therfore an M3 and a GT3 is probably not the ideal set me if I had a Gt3 which I will one day would maybe have a simple car for everyday like a VW or a Mini...not an M3 but if I could easily afford both then M3 would not be so bad..it is my daily driver and ,my only car so I much prefer it over the AMG car I had.

If you are guys like us and you only have ONE car it better have a 6 speed. I agree..GT3 or M3 or S4
AMGs are missing that 3rd pedal thingy on the left.

Yup but as a daily driver nothing wrong with a C32 or a C55...I also do like the S4 as it was brought up earlier but even though you get the 6sp you lack the nimble qualities of the M3...too front end heavy and curb weight heavy!

Sometimes I think Im gonna crack my teeth driving around SF, the roads are frickin horrible, and I seem to live right in the middle of the worst parts.
