Gt3+m3
I just realized that alot of GT3 owners also own m3's. Is it just me? or is it because im looking for one also as an everyday driver. I love my GT3 but it seems like i have to plan accordingly before venturing out with it.

For crusing the C32 was great with 333lb ft and 349HP.
I like the AMG Speedshift I wish I had it back sometimes..lol..
The E46 M is a good car, it it's your only car and crave the 6 speed, but what we are discussin is having a car that is already a street track car and deciding on a good daily option.
I have an Auto G35 sedan downstairs that I don't even drive and basically my GF just drives it. The GT3 begs to be driven everyday, but for people who want a good cruiser after being hammered on the streets in the GT3 an AMG would be a great choice. I would rather have a fast Auto as a sedating 2nd car than a growling M3 6 speed.
Stock to stock the E-46 M3 is not even close to a GT3 btw.

I dont think a merc can be considered a serious sports car. Its just a really fast luxury car. They are indeed fast, but I think for someone who is used to a GT3 a M3 will be more for them despite the fewer ponies.

Also I betcha that the guys who have M3's as dailys rarley drive their GT3's on the street and are dedicated track cars.
So in that case an M3 would be a good option.

The great thing about OC Ca is the roads are good, so its no problem on the street, It does not rain much and we get no snow.
Instead of driving to an office everyday I purchased a 5 bedroom house and turned a big room into an office, So I really do not drive that much unless its a jaunt to LA on the freeway.
The amount of exspensive cars down here is crazy so to have some indentity in the masses the GT3 kicks as as a daily driver.
If the rain and snow comes in I will beat the crap outta the G35.
MY new thing is to bail off work and dissapear in the GT3 everyday down on PCH..lol
It's like therapy.

I like my E46 M3 a lot, but since getting the GT3 I hardly drive it. I drive the GT3 almost everywhere now, even with the really crappy roads we have here in SF. Maybe I'm nuts, but the GT3 is pretty much my daily driver and I'm lovin' it!

I really liked my C55 but admittedly find the M3 a lot more entertaining and quicker around corners. Like Marc I have the competition package but unlike Marc I have teh SMG which I think is pretty great.
i think in a straight line my C55 was faster than the M3 and definetly faster than an S4.
That said, if I had a GT3, I'd be happy to drive my Titan on off days or jack my wife's 7.
