Koro 4.6 GT3

I saw a thread about stroker kits...and hey why not make a thread about this Koro model (eventhough I suppose it's been discussed many times, too bad the search won't work...)

The 4.6 litre 480hp/500Nm model did 0-100km/h in 3.8sec, 0-160km/h (0-100mph) in 7.5sec and 0-200km/h in 10.9sec
Topspeed is 330km/h for this...also it's much lighter...for example the doors weight only 4 kgs. I've seen claimed weights of 1140-1195kg for the whole car.

And here are the fastest times from Oschersleben racetrack with the average speed in km/h:
http://www.autobild.de/aktuell/repor...rtikel_id=7659
Koro had the fastest lap there...

German Motorvision seem to had a 500hp model, they say 0-200km/h was in 10.5 secs Here's a test video from Nordschleife: http://video.sport1.de/pub/Video/msm...e_wmt_adsl.asf

Here in Europe people use 0-200km/h (about 0-125mph) as a bit same kind of performance figure as the quartermile in US...

Okay had to do a bit research and now the quite famous Edo has the fastest lap with their GT2 R (542hp GT2, 1:38.32 min)

Crazy cars

Might spin...

Unreal! That 4.6L GT3 has got to be as fast as it gets on a race track, it almost appears they're fast forwarding the tape its going so fast on the track...

The point is that the engine is a N/A, stroked to 4.6 litres. No problems with modded turbos here (I drive now a Techart stage 2 with zero problems and I'm a bit worried to install some parts from respectable US tuners...there should be nice power gains but hope not too many blown mafs and cels when going all out at the track or at the Autobahn)

By the way, look at the laptimes and see how much faster the Koro is than a normal GT3, 8 seconds!?
The record-breaking Edo Porsche is much more a track car if you look at the pics so no wonder it has the fastest time now...

i thought 4.0 liters was the point of diminishing returns for a flat-6 engine?
