car got egged hard, paint damage, Help!
#20
I fixed one of these on a daily driver once. It didn't come out perfect but if you didn't know it was there it wasn't too bad especially since the car was silver and that color blends well.
Clean with alcohol. (not my friend johnnie or jack, but rubbing alcohol)
fill in cuts on paint with touch up paint.
buff out with heavier to lighter grade polish. You may end up with some swirl marks but the lighter polish will take out most of them.
Again it won't look perfect but it will get you buy for a while at least.

I'm so sorry to see the damage. Looking at your paint from your thumbnail, it looks like it broke clear and paint. To take care of it correctly, you will need a new paint job. Depending on where the damage is, surrounding areas need to be blended as well. Take your car to Spectrum Collision in Irvine and ask for Ed Cobbett. He's a world-class guy and will take excellent care of you. Don't worry, it will be fixed. Feel free to call or PM me if you have further questions.
