True. My point was that the basic 996/997 design can compete with the CGT design, and probably surpass it with a stock factory car within the next year or so (Ruf has already done so). That gets back to the original Porsche philosophy of having a world-class performer that any family member can drive on less-than-perfect streets.

I can say from first had experience, my GT3 pulls away from the C6 just like the video, and then a little more.
