Read in Car that there will not be a 997 gt2 so it looks like the 996gt2 will be the last. With aprox 300 in the US what effect will it have on values?? thanks carl

Everything is speculation! Don't trust any of these rumors that are floating around on all boards. The only "people" that know if there will be another GT2 is Porsche AG. You know thinking about it, they're probably not sure either.
Only time will tell. There's no other answer. But I will say that I will not be surprised at all if a 997 GT2 is released.
Do not consider values/prices and so on. Just enjoy the car. It's one of the most visceral cars made in history. Have fun with it and enjoy the time you have with it. But be safe. To own a GT2 is very special. You can own it for a "millenia" and still learn something new the next time you take it out for a hard drive.

GT2 will always represent a small market. in the pass 6 month (i was looking one) the price seems to be stabilized & not too many cars on the market. however, i doubt the price will go any higher than current since the 997 Turbo will have better performance numbers than GT2 on paper.

I doubt a GT2 will come to USA not worth it for such limited sales numbers and GT3 makes more sense for them, I wonder how many worldwide GT2 sales there were?, Its too bad the GT3 RS never came either
