Anyone else's CGT throw rocks like crazy?

I have noticed when either I'm driving behind or having someone else drive behind me in the CGT, that it has a propensity to throw rocks up like crazy! This has happened on the street and the track. It has been so severe that it has cracked the windshield of my 996 and a friend's 993. Has anyone else noticed this?

CoreyNJ is infamous around these parts
If you are talking about through the front open area behind the front wheels infront of the doors, there is a solution. I think Excellence did an article on it last year.

Sorry, I should have been a little more specific, I meant from the rear tires back.

I have not noticed that, and friends behind me have not mentioned it. I do notice small rocks make it in the driver window if it is down, but that's a known issue.

Never thought about it being the tires. The car is equipped with the huge Pilot Sports on the rear. That would explain it!!

Thanks.

I'm getting a sign like the rock hauling trucks have:

STAY BACK AT LEAST 500 FEET
NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR BROKEN WINDSHIELDS

Welcome to having a car with wide tires.
If you think that is bad, drive behind a car on racing slicks.

I think my front right headlight lense was cracked from a cruise. It very well may have been fayence

...but cruising with cool cars like that is worth it

Its not always bad being 3rd, let 2nd place take the trashing

I notice the front being a problem with rocks going through the vent slats in the back of the tires but didn't get any complaints from the rear, then again with that V10 right on top of your ears you will hardly notice anything going on in the back unless its transmission related
