Does the base 996 GT3 come with coilovers?

Does the base 996 GT3 come with coilovers?

Someone mentioned it on another board. I thought the base GT3 had the X74 suspension with adjustible sway bars and the RS came with coilovers.

Just wondering...

no the GT3 does not have X73. It uses H&R springs made for the car with bilstein shocks with adjustible sways. So yes, It's a coilover system.

All the current Porsche sport cars are coming with coilovers.

The GT2/GT3 have adjustable height coilovers via rotating spring perches.

actually, they're stained from the previous owner using chemical wheel cleaner on them. That was the main reason I changed the brake pads from the factory Pagids to the EBC greens-- maybe a lot less dust to clean up all the time. Maybe now I should paint the hats.

The X74 is an optional suspension for thr Carrera, the X73 is an optional suspension for the Turbo and C4S, the GT2 and GT3 come with adjustable coilovers.
