After seeing the one in cali for 75k(although this is a rarity) I was so tempted to make a deal on an offer someone put down for my 944 turbo. But the offer was a lower one so I am going to hold off until I sell my 944 for something reasonable and then go 996 GT3 hunting!

 

Okay, I've changed my mind. I'm keeping mine and skipping out on the August 2006 release of the 997GT3, instead I'm holding out for the 997GT3 RS to be released in the US next February....I'm crossing my fingers that we'll be able to get this one.

After much thought, I agree that the new car just is not different enough and a little too civil for my tastes. I just hope Porsche North America makes the right decisions with the RS.....bring it over here, keep it REALLY light (under 2900 pounds), no fancy stuff, and please the 1973 RS blood orange or green colors!

 

If anyone is serious about unloading a GT3 and would like a 944 turbo S on trade plus cash. I am ready at any time lol. I know its a shot in the dark....but if there is anyone out there I will trade plus cash in a heart beat.
