ny autoshow gt3 info
just returned from show and was disappointed no tt and esp no gt3. however, i did speak to rep who knew all about usa version and told me following:
sunroof is std which makes me happy since i like open cars. i know the extra 25 lbs will ruin performance but i plan on going anorexic whenever i drive it. also might only keep 1 gallon gas in it at a time! remove valve stem covers and owners booklet! no socks or shoe laces?
anyway was upset that suede will probably not make it here. also only blk and grey int colors. chrono will be optional $ which is crazy since keeping lap times is what this car is for. forget about clubsport pkg and special seats too.
most important thing is nothing else at show made me second guess my decision for gt3. well maybe except for the gallardo spider a little

let's cut the purist talk between the buyers & owners. knowing that there's nothing wrong with having sunroof in the car but seriously if Porsche decide the sunroof is standard on ''GT'' cars then that's just wrong. hard to make things right if/when the basic idea is wrong...
