Real CGT HP

I dont think the CGT is 605hp. i hearing alot of stories of high hp to the wheels. 550, 575 even 590 to the wheels!!! they are under stating the HP on the car

That car is amazing!

I have put down 586 on a dynojet with my car. I think Porsche understates and Ferrari overstates. Just my opinion!!!!!!!!!!!!

Doesn't AWE have a dyno video where the CGT did 576 whp stock ? It was done in testing for their exhausts.

I drove my Carrera GT at Mid-Ohio today and it seemed pretty dam#&d fast compared to any other car there. I sucked the headlights out of a C6 Z06 Corvette that was on the same lap with me.

It might have a tiny bit more than the 605 SAE net HP that Porsche claims.

I think one other reason why the CGT puts out quite a bit of rwhp is the ultra light ceramic clutch, which results in less drivetrain loss.

When I first drove the CGT over 1 1/2 yrs ago I posted on this Board my impressions of the car. I said then and still maintain it is the best stock production track car on the planet. So I am not surprised what you did to the Z06.

I am curious as how well the Z06 did against other cars assuming it was driven by competent driver?

NO! My feeling about the CGT on the STREET remains the same. Call me a nanny, grandma, chicken ****, pompous *** or whatever, the car does not belong on a street driven by a rank amateur.
