They are very well put together but the race car is a real pain in the *** to work on.

They said a S7 takes 8 weeks to build beginning to end if there are no delays.

I believe they said they build 45 a year.

They said they wind tunnel tested the car in England and it has enough downforce to drive upside down at 160mph.

The coolest thing that I did not know about Saleen was that they make the Ford GT and various other Mustangs for Ford.

I think that struck me was that Mr. Saleen drives a Ford GT to work, not an S7.

Did they have the old race cars on display? Here are some old pics of when I was with Saleen in 1997.What a sound those MF made.

I thought they said it was 24 street versions and 6 race versions of the S7 per year.

Suprisingly no (although we heard one while appraoching the garage). However I did see a couple zipping around when I arrived.

Oh yeah, back in 2000, I think I was following the Motorola Cup ... just idling in the pits, the damn thing would blow your ears off!!! Insane.
