GT3 and left foot breaking

I did a DE today which was wonderful. My instructor had a chance to drive a Cayman S and noticed that when he started left foot breaking, the gas cut out....to the point of the car almost stopped completely. He told me that he believes this is due to E gas (?). Anyhow, he had read a thread awhile ago on one of the Porsche sites where someone said the same happens with the GT3. I wonder if this will happen with the 997 GT3. I'ld like to find out before I spec out my car. Any help would be appreciated.

It's been the case in all e-gas controlled Porsches that simultaneous application of brake and throttle is only permitted for a brief period, unless the clutch is in (so you can heel-n-toe).

I haven't heard anything about changing that on the new GT3, but it would be nice, I think, to have more direct control of the car if TC is turned off.
