GT3 RS front mod

Just had mine done. Took the bodyshop 10hrs to do. They also fabricated a thin aluminum backing plate for strength behind vents. Backing plate and tight mesh are attached to underside of front skin with 2 part epoxy.
IMO turned out nice.

DrJoe,
Unless you plumb for an extra oil cooler under the vents, they are not functional, other than less weight and cool factor.

Functional to the extent it allows heat from the radiator to escape a little easier.

Rhamy is infamous around these parts
It increases down force on the front end, air flows into the front bumper and goes out through these vents, thus increasing pressure on the front end.

Vader: Thanks it's getting there. Working on the driver part.
Joe: Same scenario for me, fast car slow driver.
Rhamy: Good point, makes sense to me. Maybe, I could put a couple of vents in the rear to keep it planted while I learn to drive.
Cheers.

The RS wing will give you some more downforce on the rear end.

Slowpoke: Good luck, post pics once completed.
Rhamy and Joe: Your CF wings are hot!
Gemballa power kit: Equal length headers, Euro 100 cell cats that are crossed (joined) in middle to retain mid-range. Utilizes the same part number Porsche Sport exhaust that came off my GT3 with the exception of larger dia piping at 63.5mm or 2.5". At idle sounds slightly louder than stock w/ deeper tone. At 3K starts to wake up. 4K-5K definetly louder and starts to pull harder than stock. After that, have not had the opportunity to go past that yet.
Researching flash upgrade to even out power delivery closer to stock as it seems to have lost some bottom end torque. Currently, GIAC looks to be the ticket.
