Angry Figured that!

I was gonna say.... 10 to 1 odds that the Dealer you bought it from 'borrowed' the briefcase! Kinda makes you want to think twice about the 'credibility' of that dealer to take posession of something that belongs to the rightful buyer of the car! Michael

Well, its become more of an interesting hunt now...like trying to find a needle in a haystack so to speak....If I could find out the actual manufacturer of it, I could possibly source one directly...

Nice finder's "gift" for anyone that can source one !

RUFMD, did you purchase your car from a dealer or a private party? If you bought it from a dealership, I'd go and demand that they get it for you for free since it's supposed to come with your car. If you bought a 400,000+ car from them and they're not willing to give you what's rightfully yours, then I'm sure you can let them know you wont be doing business with them again and tell them you were ready to plop down a deposit for the new 997GT-2 even if you're not. Maybe it's just because I don't have that kind of money that I dream of being able to say something like that and walk out. I'm sure the sales manager would stop you with a date to pick up your briefcase before you were able to open the door as you push through the now assembled crowd gathered around your car.

dealer out of state...they have apparently tried, but failed to source one. I find it crazy that a few spare ones aren't laying in stock at PCNA, but that is apparently the case...
