Testing a 2004 GT3- What To Look Out For???
I was at the Audi dealership today thinking about the RS4 when in the showroom there sat a 12,000mi Porsche GT3 in red. The car has the Euro cloth buckets, half cage with extinguisher and everything looks stock. The car did not come with the PCCB but oh well. It's CPO'd but looking through the wheels the rotors do show some cracks but the salesman said he'd have them replaced by Porsche? Back to the car, they're asking $84,500. Is this a good price? The car's been tracked obviously and rides on coilovers. I assume these were standard to a GT3? Anyhow, is this a good price and what should I be looking out for? Thank you in advance!!!

if u get a chance to test drive it try reverse backing at low speed. play with the clutch u'll get a pretty good idea if the car has been heavily tracked. PM me if u want to know more about it.
is the RS4 in?

is the car at porsche of oakland?
if so, goto rennlist and pm dave I, he was the owner.
tony c did the custom roll bar, there is NO roll bar better made, inc. the oem one's. the car has not been tracked, if dave did track it, maybe 2-3 days tops. the seats are 26-2800 new. roll bar is 1800 installed. if you talk to perry egyes at the dealership and tell him john hua sent you and that i said he should sell it for 82 or less. he might just do it. if it was white or yellow, i would have bought it.

I am (lightly) shopping for a GT3 as well. Non-PCCB. What are the gotcha's, besides it is track oriented, etc? What I am looking for is have GT3s developed any well-known problems?
TIA
