Smile Love your GT3's look

[quote=MetalSolid]These are second to stock - looks wize.

I really love the look of your GT#. especially the wheels and rear wing. What is the rear wing? It's look unique and cool but not over the top...

It's not my car, I think it belongs to Curtism. The wing you can get from Carnewal; it's either the Porsche RS piece or the hi-quality carbon fibre replica they sell. The wheels look good because there are no shiny pieces to attract the magpies.

To me the BBS wheel looks "busy", while the HREC20 is a beautiful, simple wheel, IMHO.

remember one thing, track wheels get bent, where and who can service them and what is the turn around time. my fikses takes 4 weeks to turn around for bent halves. that is not acceptable. i am on track every other week. so now i have 4 sets of wheels. my personal fav now are CCW corsair (for GT3 fitment) and jongbloed. jongbloed is lighter than fikses and kinessis for my GT3 and cayman fitment.

you know Doc your comment made me look closer at that pic of the black center wheel and I noticed something I hadn't before..so thanks...in that pic the wheel center in mounted on the outside of the rim, exposing more black and less polished wheel...compare that to this pic of a gold center wheel where the center is mounted on the inside of the rim...much nicer look IMO.....at least BBS's are unlikely to fail on the track...HRE makes beautiful wheels but I wouldn't race with them and this thread is about track wheels...I agree with John...Jongbloed's are
great track wheels..
