does this bumper significantly lower the vehicle?

eBay Description says: "This is a GT3 Carrera Cup front bumper for the 2002-2004 996. This is not a regular GT3 bumper cover. This is the Cup version which is a lot more aggressive looking and has three vents at the top of the bumper. This listing is for the cover only and does not include the vent frames and lower lip. The liner has scratches on it and will need to be repainted."

My questions: What are the vent frames and where do you buy them? Does the body shop need your car to paint the bumper or can you just give 'em your paint code and they prep, paint and finish then you arrange installation?

 

zed, I always like taking cars to the actual shop because although you can give your paint code to a body shop, I like to make sure they have the car in order to match the paint. Sometimes the paint code and the paint on your car do not match up 100% because over time the paint on your car does not hold the same exact color as when bought. This is just me, but I usually make sure the shop has the car when they do the paint in order to ensure the best possible match.
