What Porsche really needs is a 500 HP GT3 and a 600 HP TT before they tackle this MEGA BUCK beast. I wonder what the price tag will be $$$$$$.

The 9ff 9f-GT9 offers a stratospheric output of 1000HP extracted from a dry sump, Porsche GT1 based 4.2L Twin turbo charged powerplant. This fire breathing overachiever is nestled in a mid-engined configuration down and away within the lightweight central confines of the aluminum spaceframe. A pair of Giant turbos are mounted just behind the side intake openings. When daylight fades, one can clearly make out the glow of the turbines burning red as they reach their operating temperature. The Powerplant and gearbox are perfectly positioned in such a way to endow the GT9 with that perfect 50:50 weight distribution. Prying eyes can make out the race-derived horizontally placed springs and dampers peeking out from under the rear cowl.
Drawing heavily on aerospace and racing technology, the GT9 employs high tech materials throughout to achieve the competing goals of the 2900lb curb weight and a luxurious and substantial aesthetic. The full leather and alcantra interior is an equisitely appointed exercise in German design – simple, clean and elegant.
The new 9ff super car – 9f-GT9 is preparing for a top-speed run this spring. Fatthauer concedes, "Everybody is hoping that we can go 255mph – that would be really nice to be faster than the Bugatti Veyron. As an engineer and a lover of all fast cars, I respect the economic and man-hour commitment it's development required. Maybe we will not be faster, maybe we will. At any rate, nothing in the world will drive like this car. A pure drivers car, like a super-fast Carrera GT...Its truly something special."
