My dealer wanted to pull the complete motor and trans as a unit which is ridiculous to service the LSD under warranty...My tech and I had the diff out in no time and is currently on one of my lifts
I am having my diff rebuilt with Porsche Motorsport parts and modified as well by Fabryce at GMG
By the way my GT2 is modded to the hilt and didn't seem to bother my dealer
Complain to Porsche...

I remember you posted a while back ago about your new tires for GT2.
I don't remember what kind of track tires are you using?
Is it Hoosiers?

I've been using mostly MSCs but would definitely go to Hoosiers (or Nittos) once the these tires wear out. IMO, no DOT tires can beat Hoosiers at the track. I will keep you posted with these tires changes.
PS
You may ask the guys over at rennlist for the sizes.

Try the Dealer in Westlake Rusnak. They are pretty friendly from what I hear.
I would fight them. If you have a chipswitch, set it to stock. They can't really void your warranty on a diff because you have intake or exhaust...

more power= more strain on drivetrain

excuses , excuses....
As long as the car has any sort of modification, they can always make something up to void the warranty. What about changing compound of the tires from OEM.... isn't that more grip, therefore more stress on LSD.....
This dealer B.S. is just ridiculous. Some of them just wants to charge for a $700 oil and filter change.... quick and easy without any warranty claim issues with Porsche N.A.

you can mod the **** out of your GT2, unless newport can conclusively prove your LSD failure is related to the mods, they are REQ'D to warranty it.
but i suspect your time is more valuable than spending fighting with morons.
however, do find a good dealer and dvelop good rapport with them, my will warranty just about anything, from my tranny, cat, wheel bearing etc, and they KNOW my car is on track every weeeknd.
