If you can find someone who will do a quality repair job on a 997 that has been rear ended by a truck for 1-2k keep them around!

I also saw the car that had been rear ended and a 997 with that much damage would probably be 10-20K to repair based on how bad things are underneath. You can't replace a bumper for 1-2K with paint by a reputable shop.

Don't get me wrong, I agree the CGT is VERY expensive to repair and probably about 10 times more expensive than a 997, but your estimate of 100 times is not realistic.

Yeah it's a really nice car. CF in all the right places, red rear console, seatbacks and belts, black interior with red deviated stitching it might be the perfect GT2. Hmmm...maybe we should go halves and trade off every other weekend...Or maybe they'd give me a 30 year loan like a mortgage
