Changed two up into gulf blue, one with a horribly photoshopped orange and one sticking with the black.

Hmmmmmmmmmm.............
Good question.........now that the debut of the 997GT3RS is around the corner, the 996GT3RS has sunk to the levels of the red head step child!

My personal opinion is if Porsche suddenly stopped production of the 997RS and I could find a good example of a 996RS..........I wouldn't be losing any sleep. The 997RS is just an evolution of technology! Both are excellent cars!

Yes, definitely hotter...and I am really hoping I can get one but it seems like the quantities will be very limited...

Arling I think the RS for US (USA) is a waste of money. Wide body more drag no more HP. I think the 997GT3 is a better deal. Having said that I am keeping my 996 GT3 because I dont want a sunroof or the PASM or TC. An instructor I use is tall enough with helmet with out losing 2" because of the Sunroof.
If I had money coming out me ears I would keep my GT3 and buy a new TT I think.
