NMex,
Congrads on your Motons. I too just installed a set last week, it is like night and day. Since I have not had the chance to dial-in care to share what settings you did to put on "rails"?
What main spring rates did you decide on for front and rear? I drive mostly on street and plan on tracking some. The ride is stiff but very compliant.

500 lb front 700 lb springs back as and 150lb on the small spirngs
as for clicks on canesters 4 ( going from - to + ) 3 on rebound front and 3 and 2 on the rear. I also change the Sway bars to full soft rear and one up from full soft on front

I am debating new suspension and have come down to JIC's ($4000) vs Moton ($8000) for my DE only track 996TT. In ordinary drivers (me) does anyone think the motons(as good as they may be) are worth double? I mean for someone that 1-2 secs a lap isnt life or death...IS IT WORTH IT?

We sell a ton of Moton here we also do PSS9's and JIC
It all depends on what you are looking for - When it comes to dampers you really do pay for what you get..
As mentioned in another post- You cant expect a off the shelf suspension system to have the ride and performance of a real racing type shock. Its all in the shock design and adjustablilty.
The Myth that race shocks are super stiff and have a harsh ride is just that a Myth. It depends on how the car is set up - spring rates and what you are after-You cant have the best of both worlds.
In my experiance the Moton club sport is more than enough shock adsorber for any car fitted with a DOT R compund tire and that isnt fully caged. If you are looking for more adjustabilty and want to get every tenth of a second from every lap - then you need to start looking into 3 way and 4way adjustable dampers- At which point they will further need to be developed and tuned for the car - set up - tire and type of racing you do.
So to sum it up and NOT turn this into a discussion -
PSS9's are great for street cars - You get a lowered ride height and some improved dampening control over stock-
I think that the JIC is a better shock and offers stiffer spring rates should you so desire it - the PSS9 does not.
Moton / JRZ offer you a step above the other two and allow for servicing when needed and not replacing shocks if a seal goes bad- you also have more tuning capability with a proper damper like a Moton /JRZ
But in the end as with anything it boils down to set up and the experiance the person has in working with the suspension system and your driving style.
So just my 02. cents-

Up date I just drove the car today out side the track and man what a diference. I was riding on full monoballs and the car car was very stiff and you could feel every bump. Know you can feel every thing but at the same time is Rough but diferent hard to explain. love it . Before I would take the car out to goof arround town but will think about the pain in my back after driving arround, know it just feels right Here are some more pics. Also I notice that the fron Spring is not a 500LB but a 600lb soup date data
600lb and 150 comression spring front
700 LB and 150 copmression spring rear
