Am I correct?
The right one is the old version Alu racing wheel and the left one is the new version Alu racing wheels?
Why the Mag wheels are not good for street use?
And how heavy are the Alu wheels?

your are correct the right pic is the new alum wheel...according to Damon at Tire Rack (board sponsor) BBS does not recommend the alum wheels for the street either...if you do run them on the street (I do)...watch out for potholes and avoid bad roads...the mags are even less suitable for the street...the alum wheels are much lighter than stock but I don't remember exact weights...pm or email Gert at Carnewal (board sponsor) and he can give you the weights...great wheels...

thanks for the reply
the bad news is i am going to use it on street and the road condition is no good. so maybe it is not the right one.
by the way, i want to find a light weight wheels for my GT3. do you have any suggestions? what about hre?
and what size do you suggest? 8.5*18 and 11*18 ok? or 9*18 and 11*18? any big differences btw them?

Guys those are the new style wheels-
The old wheels were - Mag centered- then they were a alu/mag blend
and now the new ones are alu.
The old wheels do not have the spokes machined on the inside..
We run these on street cars as well..
Tire technology in 18" is much better than 19" hence the cars perform better on 18's versus 19's.

I did bend a set of BBS Alu's before.....but that's LA's finest freeways for you!

The one one the right is the latest version and is an evolution of the wheel shown on the left.
Weights for the racing wheels with alu centers :
8,5x18 : 9,2Kg (20.24lb)
11x18 : 9.5Kg (20.90lb)
12x18 : 9,7Kg (21.34lb)
