According to a thread on LamboPower.com, one CGT recently went for 315k at auction, and other is available (somewhere) in Miami for 280k (2004 with 7k miles...supposedly story-free). I'll believe it when I see the ad...

It should be interesting to see what happens to their value when all of the remaining new ones are sold, and they become more difficult to find.

I also had a friend who picked up an 04 black with low miles for 300k. he is expecting them to be 250 pretty soon. lets see what happens after the warrenty is up on them

I think the CGT is a long term investment. I can forsee the values dropping to 250k quite easily for 'driven' ones at this rate - Porsche simply made too many of them IMO.

If the price drops to 250k. I have a 5-6 year plan in order to get one. I guess I have another goal in life lol

ive heard that the CGT is a million dollar car and Porsche lost money on them and thats why the parts are so expensive. in reallity you are Maintaining a million dollar car and not a 250k. that’s the issue.
A big reason I stayed away from it was the instability of the car as well.
As I said previously a friend of mine who is a Pro driver said the car is one of the most unstable cars he has ever been in. he did 50 laps @ CA speedway and felt the car was flawed and that’s why there are so many accidents in them.
That being said I loved the underrated HP and the light weight of the car not to mention one of the best sounding sports cars
