According to a thread on LamboPower.com, one CGT recently went for 315k at auction, and other is available (somewhere) in Miami for 280k (2004 with 7k miles...supposedly story-free). I'll believe it when I see the ad...

ive heard that the CGT is a million dollar car and Porsche lost money on them and thats why the parts are so expensive. in reallity you are Maintaining a million dollar car and not a 250k. that’s the issue.
A big reason I stayed away from it was the instability of the car as well.
As I said previously a friend of mine who is a Pro driver said the car is one of the most unstable cars he has ever been in. he did 50 laps @ CA speedway and felt the car was flawed and that’s why there are so many accidents in them.
That being said I loved the underrated HP and the light weight of the car not to mention one of the best sounding sports cars
