Need Help Ordering my GT3

Need Help Ordering my GT3
I placed my order for the car last week, but don't have to commit to the final specs for a couple of weeks as I understand it. While I know this is essentially a street legal track car, and I intend to put track days in, it will ultimately get more use on public streets. With that in mind and the thoughts of resale some day, what are your thoughts on options? Specifically:
Full Leather
Bi-Xenon headlamps
Sound Package Plus
P Communication Management System
PCCBs (a must is my thought)
Adaptive Sports Seats (how good are the base seats? Probably add weight and expense if I ever swapped them out)
Chrono Package Plus
As for color, I am going with the Orange shown on the GT3 RS and am going to have the wheels blacked out. I love the white in the pics, but have a white P now and have a feeling that a lot of the new GT3s are going to be white due to the published pics.
Thoughts and feedback would be appreciated.

I love that color, but you prolly already know that it will take longer to produce. I prefer the interior with alcantara and I'd prolly opt for standard steel brakes. Other than that, it sounds awesome!

as jamie pointed out paint to sample is going to add a couple months to delivery.
you will also be paying $4315 for some that will not add to resale.
-would drop the sport adaptive seats in favor of the base seats.
-don't recommend sport chrono.
you might want:
-p12 self-dim mirrors and rain sensor $690
-342 heated seats $480
-xxz alum foot rest $250
-666 module for telephone pcm $960
if you go w/ a dif color you might also want:
-colored seat belts $540
-guards red instrum. dials $860
if you prefer smooth leather over alacantra for the thick steering whl:
-xpa three spoke thick smooth leather str whl $0

I know paint to sample is going to take time, but i want my car to be different and i will be keeping the car a long time, so the extra cost is palatable.
nixing the seats is probably a good idea. How much are GT3 seats going to cost to put in? Already had the aluminium foot rest and fire extinguisher on the order.
I'll give the mirrors and rain sensor some thought. Not too concerned about a cold butt in Atlanta.
What is bad about the sport chrono? Won't be using the phone in it and since it isn't Bluetooth enabled, it will date quickly and not help on resale - my opinion anyway.
Any more input? Z

i'm in b'ham and have the heated seats in my c2s cab and prefer
them for when it cools over the heater, also heats up quick unlike the heater
have you recvd any approx. completion dates on the paint to sample?
i guess you like the alcantara?
sports chrono doesnt look very nice sticking out of the dash,
most people refer to it as a wart , and isnt that functional
for drivers timing their own laps.
quote from mjones on rennlist: "In theory the SC is a great idea with PCM having the graphic color coded
display in the PCM showing at a glance if you are faster, slower or the same time.
However the implementation to make it work SUCKS...and when you are 110% focused on driving it is a pain to execute.
Believe me I've tried to successfully make it work on my S ...I gave up."
also the sport mode is standard equipment and does not require ordering the sports chrono option on the 997gt3.
i havent heard a single person that had anything good to say about sport chrono.
sounds like you know what you want in the car!
good luck,
jeff

OK, sounds like the chrono is out.
I won't drive it much in the colder months, so will deal with the cold seat when I change my mind.
haven't heard anything on build dates. notwithstanding the color issue, they were guessing a late 2006 build.
I think I am going to go full leather. I like the look. Z
