GT3 RS price update ?

Does anyone know what the price on the US spec. GT3RS will be?

Are the ceramic brakes optional or included?

Thanks!

If I was a betting man, I would say that the PCCB's will be standard equipment on the RS's. (They were on the 996 GT3 RS)

From what I have heard, (rumors and such) the RS will be about 10-15k more than the GT3. Don't bank on that though....it's not straight from any horses's mouth.

The GT3 is approx. US$ 115,000 including the PCCB setup.

Should I expect 10-15K more than that figure?

the new 997GT3 wil prob run high 11's ET considering the 996GT3s ran anywhere from 12.1-12.3 and i saw a trap speed best of 118 mph. the new 997GT3 will run at worst high 11's and the 997GT3RS should def be into the 11's with the weight savings and such and will eat the 430 on a track and will prob prove to be just as fast if not faster for about 100K less.

Obviously, you've never driven a F430

A 997 GT3 RS will demolish a 430 on the track. I have driven a 430, its a nice car.

when do the wider hips of the RS (and presmably more downforce from the wing) start to slow it down vs. the narrower standard GT3? Would that have any effect in the 1/4? Or later at higher speeds, only?

just curious. I don't think the RS is designed as a top speed machine (and frankly, no stock Porsche really is- leave that to RUF).
