That car/driver is 5 miles from my home, and old roomate of mine.
It is a RUF CTR2 sport. (owner = Steve B.) His family had 4 of them.
Steve's car is licensed for the street, and was built as a street car.
It is now more of a "gutted street car".
He has a video also passing Porsche 962's at Daytona Rennsport Reunion
at 180 mph !!
It sits extremely low to the ground (your pinky will not fit between the slicks
and the fender!).
This little set-up (Ruf 580 HP/approx weight of car is 2800 lbs) will
BLOW YOUR DOORS OFF, period. He has beaten the Viper Race cars with
it (not the ACR street car, the RACE CAR).
He runs it with both 2 wheel drive or all wheel drive depending on event and
track, He is very savy with gearing.
Phenominal example of what a 911 based car can do.
