You might be right Khalid, the production dates for both colors were the same.
However, the first official photos for the RS were showing the car in red-edition not blue.

The Question is: How many 996 GT3 RS were ever built in blue-edition & originally equipped with PCCB ?
I know of one. I don't think that you will find a definitive statistic that breaks down the percentage of Blue vs. Red let alone those equipped with PCCB brakes or not. AFAIK, there's only one Blue stripped RS that happens to be equipped with PCCB's here in Bahrain. The rest, three Red stripped RS's, had the standard brakes.
