Recent Track Video (In-Car) of My GT2

Guys, here is the latest Track video of my GT2 in CA Speedway.
I recently had my gearbox done w/ revised gear ratio and a new LSD put in
by GMG racing. They did a bunch of suspension work on the car too.
Car runs really great and the infield time was 1:11.21.

Enjoy!

Very fast and aggressive as always. You are very in control of a very happy rear end. What was done to gearing and did it help? What tires are you running?

Hi Vincent,

My Gearbox's ratio had been shortened from 3rd all the way to 6th.
Top speed is slower now, but acceleration is awesome and I get to maximize it on the tracks. The LSD has been reramped and has more lock.
I ran Hoosiers R6s- 245/40/18 fronts and 315/30/18s rears.

Kalvin,
Nice video and nice driving. Also a good job for missing that cone there at the end thrown by that Golf (looked like a Golf). The GT2 is getting a workout there and sounds very nice.

The short gearing seems useful for track as I hardly ever get to use 5th (even above 150mph). The GMG LSD sounds like a must. Are you run PCCB1 brakes?

Yes, I am running PCCB1. I have no issue with them. I will be replacing the pads soon. I decided to run stock pads again. They seem to work well for me.

Great piece of diving. Do you wait for the driver in front point you are do you just pass when you think you can? The only reason I ask is a few passes looked VERY close.

I also like the cone at the very end coming right at you thanks to the Honda.

Thanks Kalvin. Your aggressive lines tells me just how good your set up is now compare to your last video. I can understand why you sold your CS and Exige.

These are open passing events. Speedventures events are pretty cool, where experienced drivers can pass without a point-by. Most guys out there are very well behaved. Even the slower advanced drivers (mostly with just slower cars, but great drivers) will give you enough room to pass when needed.

The CS is definitely weaker than the GT2 in many ways. I am definitely glad that I changed to the GT2.
The Exige is very under-powered. No matter how hard I try, I still get passed by other high powered cars.
