Turbo or......
So its OFFICAL PCNA is buying back the porsche... YIPPIe... so my question is this...
I noticed how maserati prices have TANKED... like 40k tanked... I was woundering if it would be wise to pick one up over the turbo as i already did the turbo thing sorta....
My question is does anyone know anything about them... for instance compared to the turbo what kinda car we talking about... is it better to get stick or F1... is it better with the 360 or the 430 motor... what has more potential... I know the turbo is insane for potential but does the ferrari motor have the ability to be modded as well... I know nothing on ferrari really... So i persume the service is the same at a few thousand ever few thousand miles...
Either i get that or i get a phaeton...
THANKS YALL

lets see... 4+ fuel pumps, fuel jets, fuel relay, fuel wires, radio, crusie control, convertible parts, dented the car, scrached the car, drove the car, broke the car, and more issues then just that...

I'd say you'd be in for more punishment if you go the Masarati route. Hard to mod for the most part outside of an exhaust. At least the power to $$ ratio is crap in the small aftermarket.
Phaetons not much of a problem free car either so it seems albeit a relative bargain at current used levels.
I dont know what to suggest!

Which Masterati? Quattroporte?
The masterati F1 system was attrocious up until '06 (maybe 07?) model years. Everyone seemed to love the car but the tranny ruined the experience. The new F1 system seems to be completely revamped and is stated to be one of the best.
Here is a 5th Gear review on the new tranny in the Quattroporte....

My friend has an '02 Maserati coupe. Basic model not the Gran Sport. The car looks great. He get's rock star attention in it. Build quality is significantly lower than Porsche. His seats are not very supportive. You would be all over the place in the curves. The manual transmission is terrible. It requires a lot of effort to shift and finding the right gear isn't easy. The factory paint is not good. It's got flaws in it. Maserati is good to look at but after driving a Porsche I was very disappointed. Also consider the car is due for a makeover. Resale on the current model will be even worse than it is now.
