Thanks for the write up, it's just what i was looking for. Although I like the torque of the Turbo I think I'm going to like the overall driving experience of the GT3 allot more. Thanks again.

I personally owned both cars, and still enjoy the ride of the GT3 over the 996 Turbo S I had

I've read as much as I can on other's impressions of the car including preliminary write ups from the European press and many say it can be used as a daily driver. I guess in the end it's all relative to what you think is an acceptable ride. What I don't want is a brittle ride that grinds the occupants down eventually resulting in a car that rattles. If it's firm but compliant then that's OK. As a point of reference, have you driven the F Testarossa or the Vette C6 w/ Z51 suspension? If so, how would you compare the ride of the GT3?
I know it's almost impossible to know for sure without driving the car, but for now write ups like yours are all I have.
Thanks,
Robert

i haven't driven the testarossa... but i've out of all the cars i've driven in or had ride in i'd have to say the GT3 is on top of the list of the STOCK CARS along side the Gallardo and the M5 or M6 with suspension to HARD MODE... it is definitly not considered harsh for me because i've driven Moton Suspension in my Honda on the street with 16K front and 32K rear Spring rates and now thats HARD!!! so to me the GT3 is definitly streetable... if you leave the suspension on normal mode it feels just a bit harder than a 997S with 20in wheels and have suspension setting on Hard... hope that helps...

If you don't want to spend 997TT money, get a 996TT and dress it up. They are already wicked quick, can be tuned up to ungodly power for not too much $$$, and are fairly softly suspended in stock form.
My 2 cents.
