I think it might have been too much right foot.

That was a long powerslide on that last corner. You could see the skid marks on the track for a while. I hope everything is ok though.

Looks to me like a little too much, abruptly followed by way not enough right foot. Suddenly lifting completely off the gas during a wild moment is a classic neophyte CGT track-driving mistake.

This maneuver can be caused by a new CGT driver emulating 911 over-steer recovery methods. The experienced 911 pilot will think it quite normal to stand harder on the gas if the back end starts to come around in a difficult corner. The CGT will not like this sort of input in a similar condition and will get wider instead of recovering. At this point, a neophyte CGT driver with lots of 911 experience may be tempted to throw in the towel and lift off the gas, since more gas didn't help. The CGT will really not like the abrupt engine braking of the rear tires and try to go super wide at the rear.

The S2000 seemed to be reeling in the CGT as the laps progressed. Either the CGT driver was not familiar with the track, not used to track driving in a CGT, the S2000 was running on slicks (very likely), or all of the above.

If you watch the line the CGT was taking in the preceeding turns you can tell the driver doesn't really know how to handle his car.

In the first off, missed the apex in a big way.

Was NOT looking where he wanted to go...biggest fault
Using the accelerator as an on/off switch, instead of a rheostat.

Both rookie mistakes

I hope Car/Driver is OK,

Driver of CGT was too worried about car following him and not thinking enough about his own apexing...I have been there before, WE are our own
worst enemies!

Two wheels off can't be good for traction when putting down CGT power...
