What would you pay for an 04 996 gt3 with 34kmiles?
Here is what Kbb.com came up with for private party sale pricing for a 2004 Gt3 with roughly 34k miles
83k in excellent condition
78k for good condition
73k for fair condition
Im just wondering with the new 997 gt3's coming out, are these prices going to come down a bit more? Or do you think they are going to be stable for a couple of years??
Can you guys please look into your crystal ***** and tell me what you see in the future for the 996 gt3's.
thanks
Brandon

Brandon, my c. ball tells me its all about numbers. The 997 gt3 seems to be very hot and highly anticipated so if they build a lot of them( I don't know projected build numbers)it will eventually drive 996 gt3 prices down. But if they do not build a lot it might support the 996 prices.
Everybody said when the 430 came out, 360 prices would tank. Well, its very hard to get a 430 and they remain very expensive, out of reach for most. The current price for my 00 360 is very much on par with what I paid for it 2 years ago, which in the car world is a very good deal.
I think that might happen for a while with the gt3's, but unlikely for 2 years.

I am sure some people are paying more on dealer lots, or for a specific car that has everything they want, but if you shop around online, you can find these prices.

I have noticed mileage plays a big role on pricing. It seems as if 78k can get you a gt3 with like 8k miles on it.
Besides a bad 1st and 2cnd gear synchro with the tendancy of popping out of gear. What else should I be looking for when it comes to potential problems with a higher mileage gt3?
thanks for the responses

Where the hell are you guys seeing GT3's on average in the high 70's. I thought I had seen every GT3 in the country and prices are probably 6-8K higher than what you guys are talking about.
Is there another source outside cars.com, dupont reg., 6spd.com etc....
I'd love to get exposed to some cheaper private party cars. TIA
