Jeff,

I agreed with you utterly -- until i got this 997 TT tip last week. it is much more amusing that i ever expected....

for some the TT tip might be a better bet: those who need 4wd for bad weather; or a tip for traffic. it makes a great daily commuter with fun.

i still expect to slip permanently into my GT3 when it arrives in April for the reasons you mention. I drive my P's daily, and not everyone likes the stripper/racer feel of GT3, Stradales, etc for daily use...

and for "better suspension and track oriented setup" it's really best to get the RS

frayed is infamous around these parts
Hey watt, the 430 is gone? Nice to hear you dig the TT. I'd like an RS, but those allocations are tough to come by! I don't think we'll see a tremendous difference b/t the suspensions of the 3 vs. the RS based on the performance numbers from Porsche and the early reviews of both cars. But like you I'd prefer the RS. I wouldn't be surprised if I end up with one eventually.

PS... its 30mph to 130mph NOT 60mph DUDE!!!

GT3 is obviously an amazing car and deceivingly fast, but its not turbo fast!

Rule of thumb is 1 CL = .1 sec (5 car length's meaning half a second slower)

That has to be prdicated on how fast your going though. If your at 180 I dont think it's .5 seconds but at about 80 mph maybe.
