We put the car on our Intercomp scales and came up with this. Car has just over a 1/4 tank of fuel and no driver.

997 GT-3 Weight
My 996 GT-3 was 3168 corner balanced with DAS roll bar and GT-3 seats. Looks like the 997 GT-3 is a little portly. Are those weight after you corner balaced the car? My 997 GT-3 is on the boat arriving in Baltimaor on the 30th.

They need that car to be around 2800lbs or so, even less if possible, just a different feel driving a light car with alot of horses. Build it like they did the originals, damn, I cannot wait to have my RS clone built

Curb (kerb) weight is the total weight of an automobile with standard equipment, motor oil, coolant, a full tank of fuel and not loaded with either passengers or cargo.
The 997 GT3 has a 17.7 gallon tank and gasoline weights roughly 6.25lbs per gallon, so add about another 83lbs to get the accurate curb weight for that car.
So based upon AWE's scales (which may or may not be accurate), a typical US GT3's curb weight is in the 3300lbs range, 225lbs more than the weight given on Porsche's US website.
