There was a silver one driving behind us in Palm Beach a few weeks ago... with tags. What an amazing car. Iconic actually.

That car is a repaint....was silver originally. That's gotta hurt the sale.

I have been talking to some people...they said I should walk in with a $170,000.00 Cashiers Check???...and then I thought I would send her to Protomotive to be 'freshend up'

Take it over to Canepa, they know those cars inside and out. When they legalize them they basically disassemble the whole car and rebuild it with their tricks and updates. Either way they are still THE ultimate Porsche 911...

Thanks guys....I just got a E-mail saying that the car was Silver from the factory and that someone repainted it????? Does anyone know the story on that car???

Last one I heard of went for 275k. Thats a tasty price, and for that money you could still get a killer paint job back to the original colour.

I would rather get a CGT but there is a big price difference. But since you (VRAlexander) already have a CGT, then I say GO FOR IT!! Black looks very nice, if the paint job was done well, leave it.

Sorry, no help with the story on the car from me
