I could have sworn he donated the proceeds to charity.

Cool car anyway and lots of stupid money flowing at BJ to prove it.

mknos is infamous around these parts
The car is awesome. I had a chance to see it at Pratte's private Museum in Chandler shortly after he bought it. Also, don't forget Scottsdale gets 8+ percent for sales tax 5.6 X 1.18 = 6.6 not a bad couple of minutes. However you have to keep up with the interest or you never stop getting richer.

Where is that museum? It might be worth something in 40 years.

I checked out the new GT500 and they are asking 20K markups. Hilarious. Guys says people just come in with bags of money and drive them away.

yes, it was the Super Snake, there were two in existence, one for shelby himself and another he built for Bill Cosby who later wrecked it. It was a twin supercharged 427. The car was built in 1966 and was the baddest and fastest thing around, amazing 40 years later there still aren't a lot of cars out there that would keep up w/ it.

I couldn't believe what it fetched. But of ALL the cobra's out there this car is definately the most famous.
