Some mods for my 996 GT3

Well, I want to make the car a bit meaner, and I am thinking about CF mirrors, CF RS wing and some black rims. I see that http://www.revozport.com/ and http://www.prestigebodykits.com/ got good prices on the mirrors and wing. Any comments about the quality from these? Other places to get this from? Would also like some suggestions for rims, will probably stick with 18's as the car will be used on track (maybe just power coat the originals rims black?)

This is my car today

Please feel free to photoshop, and give me comments on what you think!

I would try to stay with factory parts.......RS in this case. As far as Powder Coating the rims...I would NOT do it. Powder coating adds weght and you can have issues with getting a proper seal when mounting the tires. Last thing you need is a leak while tracking/driving.

You make fair points, but I think the price for the original mirrors and wing (from 996 GT3 RS) are quite expensive, and don't see them often on ebay etc. Thats why I consider other options, but only if the quality is good.

Thanks! I have to do it!! Someone got a spare 996 GT3 RS wing + mirrors laying around? Now it's the time to PM me

Think I am better leaving the stock wheels stock, and get a new set with black rims.. Toobad BBS isn't free..

I am getting the RS rear spolier but will pass on CF mirror housings. Get an extra set of 996 mirror housings from yard and get them painted black.

I think the black powder coat will work well with the RS wing and mirrors.
