I love Z06 threads, they bring out the worst in everyone. It's great entertainment.

 

I dont blame Car and Driver though because with all the European mags that bash american carsour magazines need to stand up for our american made cars, so in that aspect I completely agree with car and driver because the corvette will never get the respect of a porche but it can sure hold its own on the track.

 

Mag comparos mean crap. Like these guys are going to say anything bad about a car whos company buys 5 or 6 full page ads in their mag?

 

Porsche owners that are not impressed with the C6 Z06's performance have another thing coming. Those cars are fast as **** and probably the best bang for the buck out of the box out there right now.

 

I'm sure they lied about the performance numbers. Those 5 or 6 pages made that car faster...

 

I don't think anyone denies it's performance, I know I don't. What I and I am sure others get sick of hearing is that how the Porsche is overpriced and not enough performance. That's what irritates me.

I did not say the numbers were off. You misinterpreted my post. I am saying personally the mags hold no weight with me as far as ANY car goes.

 

A normally aspirated M3 (with chip and exhaust) will walk a Z06 and a 997S like they are standing still . . . M3s rule!
