Who should I deal with at McKenna?
I called -- the person that I have been dealing with is aggressive and hostile.

Sorry for the delay, I was traveling. I worked with John Fernie at McKenna. However, they probably don't have any left so call around. When I was looking I found 3 in So. Cal, all at sticker (after a little conversation that started at $10-20 over). It's best to talk with the sales manager or someone who has been at the dealership for awhile, and be persistant. Of course they are all sold, but...ask when is the next delivery, could you just come an look at it, etc. When someone 'flakes', be there ASAP! Also, don't be afraid to buy out of state, shipping is cheap and dealers in snow country sometimes present great opportunities! Good luck, it's worth the effort!

Yes, just start calling around, ask the operator for the new car manager or the senior sales person. Bigger dealers get bigger allocations. The hard part is finding the guy at the dealership who really knows what is going on with the cars. The newby and part-time guy just see a name by the car and say it's sold, the experienced sales guy knows if it's a real name or just a 'place holder' for the dealer to order. AND BE READY TO PULL THE TRIGGER!
