Those are from PCNA so they should be dead on.

Some customers (mainly those who had the imagination to ask) were lucky enough to reserve a remaining available console number of their choice while waiting for their cars to be produced. The number choosing procedure eventually got out of hand and it was subsequently discontinued before the build-out was maybe half over. One imagines that as word got around about the console numbers being reservable, some late comers to the idea could churn through quite a few suggestions only to be told that each one in turn was no longer available. The first requester has the field wide open to him. The last one in line finds that every number he wants is already gone. They might then be really upset with Porsche.
This "service" was not listed in the order guide and each query about the availability of a particular number was hand carried through the system (and back) by high-level employees who's time was otherwise very valuable. The procedure was allowed because Porsche wanted to satisfy as completely as possible any customer purchasing their most expensive street car ever. I don't wonder why they stopped doing this favor for customers after a while.
A console number like #1111 looks a whole lot to me like it was a requested number. The same customer who requested the console number may also have requested that their Carrera GT be the last one built.
It's just my theory.

but that's not total production . . .
