I am glad that I got the new one after the day.
Though, it was cayenne S..
The day after, I noticed that front passenger seat was making sound.
I took it back to the dealer after the day I purchased and they told me that they can't get me a new vehicle for that reason.
Air bag inside the seat was popped.
I was pissed but I let them do it.
Right before the car got into service, I checked to see if rear seats are making any sound.
Yeah...it made same sound.
They told me that they have to replace both front and rear seats.
I went up to the manager and got a new vehicle within a week or so.
A bit different situation but Porsche won't let you down
Hope everything goes ok!

And fortunately my P car isn't a lemon, but I do feel for the unlucky 997GT3 owner.

AZGT3,
If I were you, I would have your car delivered to Porsche of North Scottsdale and let them take care of you. They have serviced my vehicles many times flawlessly and in a timely manner.
It sounds like your car is going to need some time attention wise to get the problems sorted out, and having a smaller dealership with sub par service isn't going to help rectify the problem. Do you trust the Porsche dealership in Tucson? I have yet to drop by the Tucson Porsche dealership...but I've heard that it was pretty small if I'm not mistaken.
Please, for the love of God, if the dealership(s) can't solve the problems for you, especially in a timely manner, DEMAND that they buy back the vehicle. If they refuse, introduce them to the concept known as the "Lemon Law"
After all, you bought the vehicle to drive it and enjoy it...
Good luck!

FYI guys.....Porsche will fight you tooth and nail before they take a car back. They will take a clear cut lemon car matter to trial before they give you a dime or replacement car. This is from personal exp.

For the Lemon law to be in effect doesn't the issue have to be the same exact problem three times w/ three attempts by the same dealer on this same part in question. In Fla it works this way.

Porsche will fight hard!!!!!! The dealer has nothing to do with this.
