Speed GT seat available for Long Beach
We have a seat available for anyone who would like to do the Long Beach GP.
This is in our 996 WCGT3 Cup "Vicky" that we ran last year . The car is fresh and ready to go and was a consistent front runner in 06. Probably one of the fastest and most developed 996 cars in the country.
The car is also available for the remainder of the season or other select high profile races throughout the 2007 season.
Professionally licensed drivers with experiance only please .
For more info please contact me directly.
Long Beach is the highest profile race of the season!!!!!

Will do.. We use to bang fenders with Sheehan in the early days of USTCC where we won the championship 2 years in a row..
He is a good guy and nice to see him doing well.!!!!

Are you guys still going to run at LB if you dont sell the seat?
By the way even though this is a little off topic but..is it possible for someone to make a living as a pro-driver in the Speed GT series right now?
I just wanted to see if GT racing was in the same boat as open wheel racing is in right now.

Yes we are still running the entire season regardless of the 996 seat being sold or not.
Yes there are "paid" drivers in Speed GT. Most of the factory guys are paid drivers although they do also drive in other series.
We get paid too.. Race on Sunday - Sell on Monday- Pick up a pay check from the work on Friday! LOLOL
There are alot of guys still renting a ride and they have outside funding to support it.
GT racing is no where near what NASCAR is .. I went to the Ca 500 this pass weekend. Wow I wish GT racing in the U.S had 20% of that kind of exposure .. But then again Nascar is a spectator sport and GT racing isnt.. Although Speed GT is running as a support race for NASCAR this year.
Should be a good oppurtunity to get some more exposure for GT racing in the states..
