European Delivery

Have any of you taken European delivery of your cars?

What are the advantages/disadvantages?

Is the process difficult?

I have a July build for my RS and was considering because I am off work.

Only problem is that you are tempted to run the car up on the autobahns before you complete the break-in period. Do porsche's have break-in periods?

Only company that doesn't allow leasing is Audi.

Yes, you just start making your lease payments when you pick up the car, and still have to make payments while the car's in transit. With Porsche it costs extra for Euro Delivery, and the cost is based on the price of the car.
