959 and GT3RS at Herb Chambers Boston
Went in to Herb to check out an M6 Convertible they had there, and to my suprise got to see a red 959, and an Orange GT3 RS. From what I could gather the 959 is for sale for a cool $500k. GT3 RS was scary, me wants. I guess I might settle for the M6 Cab. though .
Wish I had pictures, but now that you've been warned I'll hold you guys responsible. And if anybody ends up buying the 959, I demand a test-drive... or at least a ride-along.

Canepa knows where most cars are; the last one that traded (from Germany) was high 200s, had the crap beat out of it, and needed at least that much again in work. $500K, if the work has been done (upgrades), is actually a pretty decent price.
Here's a Komfort Version with high miles (56,545)... I wouldn't ever buy one with that many miles on it. The price $184,025.

I'm not saying that as in, I think you're wrong... I'm asking out of curiousity.

$2mm is not crazy to me; these are seminal cars which forever established Porsche as capable of making the best production/semi production car in the world, if they wished to try. For the Carrera GT, they weren't even trying - it was an afterthought for the engine developments which ultimately ran awry of changing class regulations.
Federalized and updated, these cars make a bit over 600 bhp. I wish I could provide a road test, but I've never one. #3 on my wish list to drive after the street legal street versions of the GT1 and the 962 Dauer.
