I agree....

Why pay so much more for an RS if you can get a GT3 now at sticker?

msrp...why pay a premium that your going to lose anyways ??? These insane over pricing policies makes it much more palatable to go with a Ruf RGT.

Amen!

The RS for the US market is a scam. It's not that different from the regular GT3 to warrant such a nutty price to say nothing about the insane premium over MSRP.

I think MSRP is correct. After all, this is no Prius. Dealer's who are trying to stick it to their customer's, or worse bypass their customer's for a little extra cash are taking the short term view. The guy who paid over list is going to remember, and the guy who lost his chance is going to remember.

exactly. although the extra profit might seem big in the short term but they burn themselves in the long run.

I have had a deposit since 2/06 at Rizza Porsche in Orland Park, Illinios. After several months of calls I now get my deposit back. I called the salesman a couple of months ago to inquire when allocations were given out and after a couple of weeks I get call back and said "The good news is we are getting one GT3 RS - the bad news is you are not getting it - we are selling it to the highest bidder" Still after two months I contact the manager to get my deposit back. The manager has no recollection of my order for an RS... Amazing when written up thay way on the folder.

He said they have ordered it in black with options including navigation.

Now the good news is that I was able to pickup a GT3 in January... just lucky.

I would pay not pay over MSRP. And certainly never buy from Rizza Porsche.

i bought my 04 GT3 from Rizza. dealt with Aaron the manager directly. straight guy everything went smooth. i called him for the RS but got the same answer as u did. they're getting one so they'll sell it to the highest bidder. i could understand that since i didn't order it. sorry to hear what happened to u though.
