My 996 GT3 Mark II MSRP was $123,000.00.
My C6 stickered @ $42,XXX
There is not $81,000 difference in the two cars
The Z06 or SS I order next year will come in anywhere between $56,000 to $100,000. The SS will beat any car on this continent except (maybe) the Bugatti Veyron.

The SS you are referring to is that the Blue Devil that Chevy cant seem to make up its mind whether or not it wants to build?
If so, I hope you have enough automobile knowledge to have said what you said in jest?
If not, there is no way in hell that anything with "vette" in it that will be faster than the Bugatti. Not 0-60, 0-100, 0-200 etc.

ok I'll bite, if it cost only 133K, you'd still pay over 200K as witnessed by the ridiculous mark ups of all 997 Variants when they were first released. However, IF (hypothetically speaking) it came out at just 133K, I'd sell everything I own and make some donations to both the blood and sperm banks to be sure I could buy one.
On a more serious note, the 996GT2 based at 181K. The 997 will base in the 190's. I'm going to say it will base at $193,000 but you wont be able to walk out the door for under $220,000-$250,000 due to options and exhorbitant mark ups in line with the GT3RS. Heck, even then I still may have to resort to the Scott Kelly liquidation to be able to chase after one of my dream cars!

It will be right on line with the CGT. I'm willing to bet it wont be faster by much if any around the ring than the CGT. 7:32, that's like 10 secs faster than the regular Z06. and the CGT with a great driver could easily run 10's in the 1/4 mile and this car will too if it can stay together. Man I want a CGT!!!!!
